We've had a great afternoon with our 20 months old boy. He really enjoyed to feed the animals so do we. Not a big farm but enough to walk around with little one and looking at the animals and birds.
Great management with social distancing and hands sanitising all around the farm.
It's a nice coffee shop and ice cream on the site.
Some really interesting places, craft shops galleries studios antiques etc access to some is tricky, one studio is a climb up external stairs several places to eat.
Surprisingly a few old stables stand derelict. (See my photo)
Not a lot of parking considering the number of shops etc, the marked bays appear quite small.
Great craft village, a few small shops selling cards, wrapping paper, gifts, wool, crafting items, chocolates ice creams, confectionery products and preservatives, name plates, flowers, mirrors, antiques, vintage clothes and shoes, bags, plus a local butchers, garden centre with a great choice of plants shrubs and accessories..
Auction house,Hoar park farm, fishing lake, adventure play area and a fantastic cafe with views over North Warwickshire..plenty of seating area inside and outdoor..
I think if you’ve got kids , then the petting zoo would be of interest and if that had been my scenario, I’d have given it more stars perhaps. But without the attraction of the petting zoo & a small playground, for adults there’s not much going on. There’s an antique shop, a farm food shop and butchers (that was closed when we went), a couple of shops selling the now obligatory bath soaps and cheap jewellery and some toys. There a cafe and a shop with garden related bits in too.
And that’s about it. I think it took us about 35 minutes to get there and we were there for the same amount of time. Go if you’ve got small kids otherwise probably don’t waste your time.
Lovely little place to take children for slides, swings etc also a small Farm for children.
Lovely place plenty of craft shops , children's play area plus cafes for good food and drinks
Went on 4 /1 /24 at 10. 30 am only 2 shops open and a kids play area I went for the butchers, /farm shop but it was bourded up
Cafe was open but I went elsewhere
Lovely children's farm to walk around, great for little ones to feed the animals. The service at the café leaves a lot to be desired, you would get more smiles and conversation at a morgue! However the food itself is good.
